Polyurethane

"Japanese" Floor Finish
A Japanese timber flooring finish isa type of coating that gives wooden floors a dark, satin finishand is often used in older-style homes.Black Japan is a popular type of Japanese timber flooring finish that combines a traditional stain with a clear polyurethane to create a durable, long-lasting finish.

White-washed
A whitewashed timber flooring finish isa semi-transparent, creamy white finish that's achieved by applying a thin layer of white stain or paint to wood:
- Appearance: The whitewash allows the wood grain to show through, creating a natural, textured look.Â
- Benefits: Whitewashing can brighten a room, protect the floor from wear and tear, and extend the life of scratched floors.Â
